I am an acrylic painter and most enjoy painting realistic florals with a touch of abstract. There are so many flower varieties and gorgeous colors to paint. Occasionally I do a landscape or other subject painting.
For years I was a self-taught painter. After moving from Central New York to Rio Rancho in 2003, I was fortunate to have been mentored by two fine art professionals, Hal Ashmead and Evelyn Peters. Since January, 2007, I have been painting on my own. I will continue to work toward achieving personal goals to be the best painter I can be. Many masters continue to inspire me, including Richard Schmid of Vermont.

.

Recently I had a painting selected by ISAP (International Society of Acrylic Painters) for the Back Room of their first on-line show. My paintings are currently on display at Master Works, Albuquerque, in Rio Rancho at Lovelace Hospital and The Observer Newspaper. I have also had paintings displayed in Rio Rancho at Chamisa Hills Country Club, New Mexico Bank, Pasta House, Esther Bone Library, Art Gallery 66 in Bernalillo and the New Mexico State Fair.
